Wow! I got a tranfercase whinning noise and Don Herring mitsubishi said my polyurethane trans mount void my warranty LOL! thats the most bull**** I ever heard. BMW FTW from now on, **** we are soo Mods friendly lol!!!!Maybe I expect too much from Mitsubishi dealer, or maybe BMW spoils customer too much.!!!!Ohh well I kinda expected that when that old tech dude look at my car and ask a bunch of ****Shep Transfer case now I guess

 

I feel your pain. I think when any of us buy an Evo, we should really have the mindset, it doesnt "really" come with any warranty. This is the approach that I took. So far it has worked out ok.

 

you should know if mod any car its gonna void ****, my buddies warranty was voided on his mustang for a set of dif ford mustang that were oe on the 03 cobra so its not just mits

they should offer warranties when you buy the car.. and not pay for one if you dont even get one... makes sense

actually my tcase went on me the other day...so its getting built by buschur all the way!!!

Thats sucks dude sorry to hear that. I know my car is down too due to a leak tranny seal which is a bunch of bs that dealer didn't warranty it. Even though there the one who rebuilt it and damage the seal. All I can say Lewisville Mistu sucks.

 

my buddies tcase seal is starting to go out on his 03 evo8 but i doubt the mitsu dealership here in San Antonio would cover that at all.....

Subaru isnt that great either here in SA...

 

I dont know about Mitsu, but where I work at BMW and the dealerships get paid by BMW manufacturer for replacing warranty parts, that how most of the money are being made by BMW dealership, we are very mods friendly unless that mods directly effect the problem, but then BMW cost twice as much or more than Mitsu

that sucks , but then again if i worked for mitsu i'd probably do the exact same thing.

 

and how many mods are there for BMW's and how many HP can you add with them? You bought a race car now live with it. How many times have I been passed at the track by a BMW? Can't remember 1.
