question, i see two Evo's parked by my work everyday. A blue one with and aftermarket front bumper and the yellow hyper trends one. just wondering if they were on here

 

Those two guys have the biggest ego's around, they claim to have the baddest and fastest Evos in Killeen. The yellow one is on his third engine, he keeps blowing them up. The blue one is his minion, they are KR groupies and thats why there car is always broken. They act like they are better than everyone else, and talk a lot of **** about everyone else that drives and Evo. They are not on here from what I have known, cause like I said they feel they are better than everyone else. Dont even bother saying hi to them cause they will look at you like you are inferior to them.

 

You would think after the second time it blew up he would say.."Hey maybe they're not doing it right".

 

How fast are they?e.t. or trap? Why do they keep blowing it up? is it the tune? or straight up mechanical failure?

 

I seen the yellow evo on my way home from work. He waved at me. He didnt have a front bumper on it, some black dude driving it.

 

Also, what is wrong with KR. I have been talking to Steve and he did my brakes, and will be doing my clutch for 375.00

Dont know how fast he never makes it to the end. It cant be the tune cause they dont tune. I have a friend who took his Subaru and wasnt happy at all with the work. He had to take it to Subaru to get it fixed cause they f*cked it up that bad.

I have heard bad things from guys that have taken there cars there. They use the shop cause they dont charge them install, just parts. In my view that is using someone elses car as a lab rat so they can learn. Brakes are easy you cant f**k that up, a clutch is a different story. All of us go to Kevin cause we know it will not be f**ked up when you get it back. I dont think any of us have gone to KR at all.

It is a black guy driving the yellow Evo, he waved at you cause you went to KR. His front bumper flew off cause he was going so fast, thats why its missing

 

Ive taken my car to K&R a few times and have not had any issue with them

 

I can't say anything about the shop but I do know Steve and he is a good/knowledgeable guy...and he will street race anyone

Lots of work to do on the evo this weekend...if anyone wants to learn how to change brembo pads then hit me up.
I also will be sandblasting and re-painting my wheels.
She is getting less ghetto by the day, besides the white bumper

PS anyone have a stock ex manifold they wanna gift to me? or sell for a small sum of doll hairs?

 

wow, ok I guess that answer's my question lol. As far as KnR. I live up the street from them but have never had any work done there so I can't say. I'm more of a diy kinda person. The only thing my Evo will be going to the shop for is a trip to Kevin D for a tune

 

Is this Steve from the Meets? Let me know how you change your pads. It's always seems to be a pain in the *** for me. How do you compress the pistons?

 

I always use my "persuasion" tool with a rag over it to depress the pistons multiple times and then the new pad slides in.
