monkey, you down to take a drive down to florida when I get back? I just brought the SBR 2.4 block. Going to have them install it so as not to have any down time pulling my block sending it to them and waiting for the 2.4l block. Then down the road to AWD to install the inj, BBK, and traded parts for the BR ported ones.

 

When will you be down there? There is a big 4g63 meet in Jacksonville on 12 Feb.

 

Wario whats up man! Sadly I will still be over here in Iraq eating sand...Im due to get back Mid April. It would have been nice though to attend. We need to set something up for our area, and i dont mean the sit and stare at the car wash Im thinking BBQ at the Park off rancier or something...lol

I understand about getting it done locally and cheap, I just hope it doesnt come out to be a bigger expense later on.

No I didnt see you. I had to do RSRP today, and it was hell. There was a silver EVO IX behind me on my way down. He didnt have a chance to get beside me to say whats up. I havent seen it before. You gotta give me your number dude. And yeah I hope I dont end up paying more either. I just am in the process of finding a new house, then i have to have money to take my trips while on my leave. Then I have to get my rottweiler's tail cutt off, get her fixed and shots lol. So yeah money is just flowing out my wallet and I hate it. Still have to do my 30k tune up and then the tune from KevinD. lol

 

where are the meets these days ? im drop my car off tomorrow for a new O ring in the transfer case, gonna be down for a few days

 

some go to meet on firday with the subi guys which has turned more into an awd drive meet. they go eat and go bowling. I have also heard of a meet on tuesday nights at a park on ws young. I guess they have a variety of cars and only one or two evos.

 

I prefer to hang out with the Subaru guys at Advance Auto on Fridays, but I have seen some of the Tuesday meet guys show up. The Evo guys just dont seem to want to have a tight group like the Subaru guys. I always hear of them helping each other out, Josh was even turning wrenches last Friday at the meet. Some Evo guys just dont want to hang out or meet other Evo owners.

 

I have to start going to these meets. Im sure my son will love all the other cars there seeing as how he is in love with import cars. He says his supra will kill any car i drive lol

 

well then come out on friday...I should be there in my embarrassing mobile.

this is us working on that kids car...both vac lines that go from turbo/wastegate to the boost solenoid were just dangling there. In fact, on of the lines was t'd into itself.

 

Just give me a time and place. There should be no reason why I cant make it.
