It was fun watching you get into your groove on the track, and watching the lateral Gs creep up .90... .93... .97... and then 1.02! Looks like you had a great time. Hopefully we'll see some video from Sunday as well.

BTW, what system were you using for the telemetry?

The same one I use for autocross, MaxQData. I then take it's output and put it into an app I wrote to merge it with the video.

I've got four videos today, so we'll see what's up there. I finally hit 100mph on the straight (doing that going CW is hard with a stockish powered car). Of course Tim tells me that he's going 120 in there just to knock me down a bit lol.

ETA: I guess I did hit 101.6 there yesterday (I was bone tired last night and didn't watch the whole video).

295 for 2 days which include a large amount of classroom time and 8, 20 minute run sessions with instruction each session.

Don't take that as a slam or anything, pro racer in a spec miata hits 95-101 down front strait clock wise. its 100% power weight dependant!

Thy has about same exit speed as you in end of rattle snake and she was hitting 115ish before braking at big bend.... its all the power, nothing more

great video, Sean, thanks for YouTubing it...
can you set the rest of us up w/a similar system??? how about doing an NTEC how-to?????

I can't wait to see your Sunday sessions too!! I felt like a newbie watching the clockwise vs the usual counter clockwise we all know

Tim,,,,great calm coaching...very familiar voice there, w/out the data staring you in the face, you'd swear it was a 'walk-in-the-park'

oh snap.

I was passed by three cars the entire weekend:

- z06
- F360 Challenge Estrade
- Collin's IX MR (being driven by his instructor)

I actually wish there had been some faster cars to push me a bit more (I'd have a better idea where I was slower and needed to pick time up).

I will say that Collin made a HUGE jump from Saturday to Sunday. If he didn't hit that coolant spill or blow an intercooler line he would have been right on my butt all dang day!
