And the vultures swoop in... Damn dude, glad to hear you made it out with only minor injuries. As Goofy says, the first couple days will be the worst- get plenty of rest.

Just posted that to see what the first response would be.

Glad you made it out ok, my 1st car was a Galant. 2nd car was a 06 Evo IX GSR. Wrecked it, totaled it. Been there, so I know how it feels. You'll relive the moment of impact in your head for months. Atleast I know I did. I thought about it almost every day for a year...only thing that made it go away was buying another Evo...the IX MR that I have now.

Glad to hear you are doing ok after that bad of an accident. I commented to some of the Evo guys leaving the ER party on Saturday night how nice your car looked. I believe it was you or perhaps the other Jeremy.

Glad you're ok man. I know you were talking about selling your car at Eagles Canyon. Now looks like you found a buyer.

Glad you are ok man! Too bad this happened to you! Next time hide out at the race track on the weekends! Much safer out there. Let us know if there is anything that you need help with.

Hey guys,

I appreciate all the comments. As to be expected, I'm really sore this morning. I'm hobbling around on crutches. And the hospital gave me about 4 different pills to take.

I really had planned to keep this after my next purchase. Oh well. I got all teary eyed when they pulled it up the hill.

I'll update you guys later as I can.

Jeremy

I'm very impressed with how well the Evo held up. I'm not impressed with the seat though. The impact broke the slider, and my knee impacted the dashboard.

Carnage is below.

glad you survived, Jeremy

I'm worried to hear about the seat bracket...ezy, had the same thing happen to him from what I remember...he also went into the dash w/his knee because the 3pt couldn't hold him with the bracket pulling loose..
sounds like a Mitsu defect repeatedly happening to Evo 8/9

Wow, that is just plain crazy. Any wreck where the Evo wing didn't survive is a crazy one.

Glad that you're all OK.
