Well I finally broke down and bought myself a, ahem, beater.



It's a 2003 540iA (e39) with the Sport Package. Wife loves it; kids love it; I finally realize just how loud my Evo is to ride in.

is it a stick or auto? my friend has a 335i(or something like that) thats a close year to yours and the clutch pedal is as light as air ... its so weird!. no pressure behind it. if so, is yours like that too?

 

...maybe a 330i...?...

 

mine is an automatic. i was looking for a change of pace- the manual along with the morning commute was not a pleasant combination.

your lucky you did not have to give up your evo...i did and i hate my life...no joke....never think a car could do that to me....

same here man....I have thought of trading my IX MR a countless # of times, but there isn't one car out there that can replace my Evo.....Maybe a Lotus Exige S240/260, but that car is twice the price and is not practical for my life at all...and it doesn't have AWD. Once you start driving an Evo, you get addicted to it for life.....At least I am.
