hmmm... well, i just renewed my tabs in MI... so im going to wait a few months before making any decisions... but if i do decide to switch back to the stock ecu.... i will have to send you a PM Kevin. Thanks again!

Why not maintain a PO box in MI for your car registration? Or even better if you have a relative back in MI who can forward your mail. You can still get a Texas DL (with TX address) and if you get pulled over just say you have two residences: you have a TDL because live mostly in TX, and the car is registered in MI because it is mostly driven in MI. Perfectly legal.

dont pay anywhere near that, try like regular price.. they dont care as long as they get money

haha, that works until the cop says you live/drive in texas you need to get a texas plate. ask a coworker about it. he had arizona plates on his car. on the way to lunch with him he got pulled over and got a ticket for not having it registered in texas

if you have out of state plates and an in state license it's a red flag. Legally/technically you're supposed to get them swapped over within 30 days of moving here (and if you move while here, the 30 days applies to updating your license as well).
Foreign plates also get more attention from johnny law

Inspections are nothing to fear! Its no big deal at all, and will save you a lot of hassle.
You dont need a cat or anything... its easy... your only problem comes from the AEM, go back to stock ecu, have kevin tune it, sell that POS AEM to some other poor guy that was told by his or her tuner they HAVE TO USE AN AEM and put some cash back in you pocket!
Inspection solved, car runs better, and you make out with some green! Its a win anyway you look at it! hahaha

Well Dave Buschur told me he wont touch an E85 car with a stock ecu.. and AMS recommended it as well..
The car was originally tuned by Switzer by the previous owner, so im not sure exaclty why the AEM stand alone system was chosen. .. i saved Kevin's contact information and will go to him as soon as i figure out what i should do.
