Every time I have been someone with a VTA wastegate gets told their car is too loud.

 

Ya, I have a dump tube on my wastegate so it is just open dump and I have the ETS V2 Extreme without mufflers. It is just straight pipe all the way out. So the owner of the course came out and told them to pull me off. Just as well, It was a Miata club day there and they just let me run for the hell of it and I was spanking those miatas.

The Plastidip was done professionally by a place called Dents and Dips in San Marcos. they do a really good job.

 

I saw Porkskins about a month ago on slaughter I think, pretty sure you waved.

I am too embarrassed with the current state of my car to show up anywhere though...exhaust leak and heat shield rattling like a can of rocks, need a tune, clunky control arm bushing. Wish there was a place down south that rented out 2 post lifts.

 

Damn. I moved out to Austin almost a year ago for work and I thought the scene was dead out here. The only car related thing I came across was coffee and cars at the oasis. What weekly meets happen around here?

supposedly car meet's get pretty big sat nights up north. it's on 183 and 360 Taco Cabana parking lot. see you guys there. I drive fully bilt 6262 silver evo 8

 

I'll usually go up north with ProKid on Saturdays, more evos need to start going again, it used to be awesome.

Hey guys, I live in south Austin and just bought me an 08 Evo GSR, definitely looking to meet some other Evo owners in the area and meet up. Looking forward to getting to meet y'all.

 

Somebody in my neighborhood up in the Jollyville area has a white X, I see them quite frequently along Broadmeade and Meadowheath.

 

I literally live across the street from there. It's a shame I got bored with my Evo and sold it, mostly because I didn't know anyone who had an Evo, wish I would have found a good car meet sooner

 

Where the heck is carls jr at? I know a bunch of the Honda guys meet up at some supposedly big meet off 1431 but since Honda guys told me about it I never go. Does anybody know any Mitsubishi's that go over there?
