Anyone who has experience de-badging feel like helping me remove some of the alphabet soup off the back of my car?

Dental floss, work it side to side in a "saw" motion, remove remaining residue with goo gone, clay bar, wax, good to go.

Just like this, but I suggest that you warm up the badge with a hairdryer or something similar. Makes it much easier to get the badges off it its nice and warm.

get some shop/fog lights and leave them pointed at the badge for awhile , goo gone them and again let them sit, dental floss works well.

My 2 cents.. take off the word "Lancer" if you must - but leave the Evolution and the MR on there.

The most valued collectors cars are the ones that retain the most "original" bits. Original motor, original transmission, original trim pieces and badging.. Ok, I know this isn't quite a collector car but it is part of what gives the car its identity.. like the wing and the big hole in the hood... the big red MR on the trunk...

Otherwise.. people might thing you're rolling around in a common Lancer.. and you can't have that can you? ;-)

i just grabbed mine with some pliers(without touching paint) and popped em off. then i used that goof off crap, and then waxed the area.

and regardless of me removing the word "lancer" from my car and only leaving "evolution" on the back, i still get 98% of the common world thinking its a lancer with a body kit. lol or as my neighbor says, "no man i just asked my wife, she said your car's not an evo, its just a sport model lancer"...after me already telling him its just an evo without a wing.

he wouldnt believe me that i didnt buy the seats from somewhere. lol. coming from a guy with a cavelier with a muffler tip lol.
