so I'm the fastest in the group then? lol right now the only thing i've got done motor wise is the ETS LICP (just installed that like a week ago), and the HKS carbon Ti catback. Coming soon are an ETS intake and UICP, Mil.Spec 100 cell high flow cat, Megan 3" DP and O2 housing, and a good tune by KevinD in Dallas. That should be good for an extra 80-100whp depending on how aggressive I want the tune. Stock I ran the time in my sig in the 1/4. I don't really like drag racing, but I might go back and see what I can do after the mods.

any of you autocross, or plan to start? If you don't, you're missing the entire point of owning an EVO. the thing was designed to turn, and we need more EVO representation out there. If any of you guys want to come out and watch an event, or get a ride along with me or something, just let me know. Honestly though, I never could just spectate. My first event way back in 2003, I couldn't wait to get on the course and wax some *** lol...but that's just me.

 

I am next month. There's one here at one of the local airfields. When I got mine, I couldn't wait to go autocross. Already had a challenge from a corvette friend of mine. Everybody else can't wait to see how it does on the course.

 

do you guys ever meet up? lol or go to the tracks? iv been looking for some mitsu owners.

Sept 19th i'll be in Dallas getting the parts installed, and the car tuned....maybe. I'm going out there early on the 17th. if everything's done by the 18th, and I can make the drive back, I'll run on the 19th. I'll for sure be there on October 3rd.

yeah, i know lol i've seen them before. there's a guy out here named Dave with a white 09 GTR. I got to ride in it when he bought my honda accord after my gf got into a wreck in it. The GTR may be my next car.

 

to let everyone know, the next autocross event coming up will be on september 19th in Lake Charles, LA at Chenault Airfield. The next event after that will be October 3rd at Zephyrs stadium in metarie. hope to see everybody out there.

 

Cool deal. I may make the one on Oct. 3. Depends on what kind of schedule I'm working. They like to change it up alot.

 

i was gonna say i'd like a ride along, and possibly to drive your car to see how the EVO X compares to mine, but both of those are forbidden at TLAC's. no ride alongs. I hope I can make the practice day on the 18th to at least try to get a feel for my car after the mods and tune on the 17th. I hadn't planned to race until the October 3rd event. this should be fun lol
