Been in contact with David from MDR. They specialize in tunes with Evos and even Rallyart with sst. He can also tune wrx/sti.

Im trying to get a group of people who are in need of a tune. He will be willing to travel here for some road tunes, and depending on how many people want in, there will be bigger discount. Looking at 200-300 a person, depending on what you want.

Let me know if anyone is interested,

just curious as to why you haven't talked to KevinD of Evolution Dynamics out of Dallas? he's done all the work/tuning on my car, and many others here.

David and mike from mdr are pretty badass....car moves now after the tune. Just need to tweak the tune a little to fix the no lift shift bogging I'm experiencing right now. That should be fixed today though

yeah, they did a good job trying to help me with my issues as well, but it's still a work in progress to find out what exactly is going on so I can get the car to run the way it should. it's running smoothly, but it's not as fast as it should be because of how safe the tune had to be to combat the (most likely) phantom knock.

I'm anxious to get more time behind the wheel to see how fast it actually feels. first impression, it feels quick, but not nearly as fast as it should be. we'll see though.

I downloaded evoscan and did some logs. Knocks really bad whenever I use no lift shifting. Gonna do a few more logs Thursday when I get back into town and send them to David to see if they can fix it. On virtual dyno room I'm supposedly at like 315 whp and 320ish wtq spiking 24 psi. 345//354 spiking around 27-27.5 psi. Only gets a couple counts of knock if I don't no lift shift. 11.5-12.0 afr at that boost level though, so have boost set to spike around 25-25.5 now with 11.0-11.8 afr. Might drop it to 24.5 though.

I'm still waiting on my damn tactrix cable to come in. I've had evoscan and ecuflash for a while now. I want to do some logs to see where my car is power wise, and I'm going to do some more trouble shooting on my phantom knock issue. my next step is to flash the car back to the old tune and fill up on race gas. if the knock doesn't go away then, i'll know for sure it's bs.

I finally got my cable, and the clean runs I get the car is making between 350-360whp (one time I got 374whp), 310-330wtq on 22.5 psi. my car only weighs 3212 with a full tank of gas, and stuff in the car...then occupant weight is 190lbs, 25.33 tire diameter, dynojet correction factor. it's going in for a timing belt, and the other 180k mile stuff (fluid flushes, etc), and to diagnose and fix my issue (which might be fixed already actually), new coilovers (on the way now), and a retune for power. i should be hitting a consistant 370whp then. more if I decide to turn up the boost, or get aggressive with the tune.
