2003 AS Evo VIII FS/FT

Well it's time to move on to something different. I've been debating about it for a while and now it's time to be serious about getting rid of the car.

BASICS

-2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII GSR
-Just turned over 90,000 miles
-Sunroof
-Mostly stock interior and body

ENGINE

-Stock Longblock
-Manley Springs & Ti Retainers
-Supertech Nitride Valves
-ARP Head Studs
-Comp 280 Cams
-AGP HP66 Turbo (66mm, .82 A/R, 4" inlet, DBB T3)
-ETS Tubular Manifold
-Tial 38mm Wastegate (purple 20psi spring)
-Custom Stainless 3" Downpipe
-ETS 4" Cat-back
-ETS 3" Intercooler
-Custom Aluminum LICP
-Buschur Polished Stainless Steel UICP w/1g BOV
-All couplers have T-Bolt clamps
-Precision 780cc Injectors
-Walboro 255lph pump
-Custom 3" intake w/K&N filter
-Custom Mini-Fan

DRIVETRAIN

-ACT HDSS w/Sprung 6-puck
-Penzoil Syncromesh Fluid
-Braided SS Clutch line
-New OEM Slave Cylinder installed earlier this year

INTERIOR

-Dual A-Pillar pod w/AEM Wideband & Prosport Boost Guage
-Blitz FATT Turbo Timer
-Blitz Dual SBC Spec S Electronic Boost Controller

EXTERNAL

-Enkei RPM2's HyperBlack 18x9 w/255/35-18's
-Tein S-Tech Springs
-10% tint on front, 5% on the rear

The Good:
-New OEM timing belt tensioner
-New Gates HD timing belt
-New Coolant

The Bad:
-Some jackass decided it would be funny to knock off my driver side mirror. No body damage was done.

-Earlier this week the hardline coming off the A/C compressor decided to crack and drain out all my freon. Should have that fixed by the weekend.

Overall this is an extremely solid car. I bought the car Feb. 2007 and I'm the second owner. The car was bone stock when I bought it so I have done all the modifications myself. No one else has touched this car except Kevid D for the clutch install. The car has never been in a wreck and has a clean Carfax. All OEM tags are on the body and has all factory Mitsu glass. The car is still in the process of receiving it's final tune from Mellon tuning on the stock ECU/MAF. Currently, the car makes 412/369 on Steve Kahn's Mustang Dyno on wastegate boost. The car is nowhere near it's potential and should easily see another 60-70whp increase when the tune is done.

I am currently looking to trade the car versus selling it outright. I'm looking for a clean and stock '95+ 240sx. I'm willing to do almost a strait trade plus take over payments depending on condition of the car and details with be discused with serious buyers. I currently owe a little over $13k. You can pm me with any other questions or feel free to give me a call or text at 817/313-2030. I do work nights M-F and cannot have my phone with me while at work so it might be a while before I can respond.

-Robert

Will have more pics later of the turbo setup and interior shots this weekend...

ETS 4" catback? That's a monster exhaust.

You said you're currently looking to trade vs. outright sale. For those of us who don't have a 240sx to trade, do you have an asking price for the car?

Yessir 4" slip-fit, got a very good deal on it. I haven't really thought about an outright price, but I'll start with $17.5k for those interested.

I'm really thinking about looking into buying it before my Z sells. I can drop the price on it for a quick sell. I'll let you know if/when I get serious.
I would really like to see some more pictures, and the final product after tuning.

I will be more than happy to provide you with those. Maybe a friend or fellow ntec member (Danny cough cough) could help me out with taking some photos since I don't have a camera.

going to call around to banks today if I get a chance.

hows is the transmission??
I hate pulling evo transmissions. I'm glad it already has an aftermarket clutch. I really want a twin disk though.
How much time is on that clutch?

I just found out this morning that I'm going to Mitsu school in the metroplex the first weekend of Nov. I think it's fate(or I'll keep telling myself that, haha) that I'm going ot be there anyway in a month.

Which Tuesday of the month are the NTEC get togethers?? Are they still at Spring Creek bbq? if not, then I'll look it up.

I may not be possible for me to get this car though with the blue book value being so low on evos. That's why I'm going to call around to other banks to see if I can find one that will give me more than my creditunion. All my spare cash is tied up in other toys, so I can't make up any difference right now, unless you will take a 20ft bayliner as part of the payment. haha Or you want to get into DSMs I have all kinds of goodies to get one started. A nice 91 galant VR4 shell that was raced on Pikes Peak, 10pt cage, sparco evo seats, 5 pt harnesses, scca log book and more.
