Try www.enginelogics.com
a guy with a rebuilt and transplanted wrx with sti motor has nothing but great things to say about them. Prices are fair but i have yet to meet the guys. definatly worth checking out. they have AWD and are located near southwest side of the beltway.

****DO NOT go to turbochargers.com**** they are a handfull of redknecks poking into uncharted territory. You might pay as much as double for these yokels to work on your ride.

Turbochargers = jokes
enginelogics = does a lot of wrx/sti, but the builder claimed that stock 2.0 wrx cant make over 300awhp and tranny will take a **** at that point = WRONG, Secret Services Auto in Houston did a stock 04 wrx with 35R made 357awhp on mustang dyno pump gas, been running for 15months and around 22k miles... They now have AWD mustang dyno and located at SW houston...

suggest you wait for Mellon Tuning to come back down. We will arrange w/ Chris hopefully in the nxt 3 mths. There are certain issues w/ the EVOX tuning on EcuFlash that MANY tuners in Houston are not aware of.

no doubt there are plenty of shops that think they can tune an evo but they don't do it daily and aren't experts.

Sup Chris,
Well the shortblock is pretty much complete, just some assembly needed. Machining is done. Huy was porting the head last week. All the parts are in, including an AEM EMS etc... and we're going to be running a 67mm billet this time around. Hoping to get Inline Racing a crack at the elusive 9 sec barrier for Texas, if JMS doesnt do it first

Btw, im about to post a thread in the SOUTH forum to guage interest in Mellon Tuning (texas round 2) !! so we'll get the ball rolling. So chime in there for sure

I'm going to see them this week as they're close enough to Houston. It'd be nice to have someone local that is knowledgable.

I spoke with them on the phone and they were very nice and answered my questions while explaining what they would do and why. They also said they would check my car out prior to tuning to make sure there is nothing wrong that may be causing my air/fuel spike.

I will be getting an AEM UEGO installed and tuned to correct this (https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...need-tune.html). They don't have a dyno but I plan on getting another dyno soon after so I can post results here. Just to let you know ahead of time, I mentioned my intention is not for all out power. If my numbers are low it's due to wanting to be conservative as I mostly want to have a safe tune after my Turboback install.
