is the track being rented out? if so doesn't that mean that none of the nhra rules apply right? thats how everyone else can run 8's and 9's consecutively without getting booted, like mike@awd did.

All NHRA rules apply.
We did rent the track, but we have to follow certain guidelines that we were given by the owner. There is no way around this as we are not the owners of the track. This is not a personal track rental, but a track rental for an event..........big difference between the two.

Trust me..I'd love to take out the heavy bolt-in steel cage I have in the Mamba right now. The bolt-in is only temporary so I can be allowed to race @ SAR..once I hit single digits..I'm pulling it out and will do my racing @ Lonestar..where you can run whatever and they don't care.

you might as well man... those autopower bolt in cages are only legal for scca/nasa road racing. They are not nhra legal at all. Might as well save the weight... but then again, those tech guys turn a blind eye as long as they see "something" in there,

We have flyers available for anybody that needs any or wants to help hand out in their city.

That's the point....just to be allowed on the track. As soon as it does what I want..cage is out and I don't intend welding in a 10-point.

Anyone looking at a 10-point might wanna check these guys out.

Not a bad deal if you have a friend who can weld. I'm pretty sure you'll have to make some sandwich plates for it to be 100% legal.

looks like a great collection of parts. STM manifold, PTE6765? Alot of buschur parts i see. Looks like you guys will be seeing 9s soon

We'll be trying as well. But afraid my hks twin disc wont hold up the torque. Also im stuck running IX 4th gearing on my shep trans (if i have to lower boost to keep the clutch alive or run out of gear, i may just run street)
Took us 6mths to build since we fabricated almost 90% of the parts that went on the car. Can't wait to see everyone there! The car looks great guys.

Not at all! Flyers are just to spread the word about the event.
Thanks for asking.
