I mean this has been going on long enough dont u think? I dont mind waiting but wat if we wait and one of the guys backs out and says they are just gonna take a loss on the 150 and not come?

 

honestly dude, i really hope that doesnt happen because it was originally gonna be the 2nd week of july and now its gonna be another 2 weeks which shouldnt really affect much. plus who knows, maybe airfare might be cheaper. and that gives extra time for people to save extra money or lingy2 might be able to get his stuff installed and join us for the tune. but mellon is one of the best tuners out there and im willing to wait to get tuned by him.

 

im down to push it back so i can get an o2 dump or fmic lol , if the others are kool im fine with it bro

Lets not start that up again. Inline Racing also has a rep for tuning, but Chris is our friend and we are helping him set up this tuning session and hosting it. There is no such thing as one badass tuner for the entire world. Even great tuners can recognize another. I wouldnt be so narrow minded. If these Dallas guys are great tuners they need not worry about others taking their business and keep things professional, by keeping comments to themselves. This is a Mellon Tuning thread. If you aren't interested please simply move on.

I'm pretty flexible Tom, but we need everyone to agree to a date. The fourth person hasn't paid their deposit yet, but I'll talk to him about the new date once it's been determined. is Yoshi okay with pushing it back any?

 

Yousef I am sure will be okay. It is his brother's evo X that will be receiving he tune. I mean if we're just talking an extra week or two.

Just let me know what the agreed date is and i'll update the thread. Im assuming you can play w/ the dates shopping for airline tickets and maybe that will help w/ the decision based on price?

well as far as the orginial date i wouldnt be able to make it cause im sure my tranny wouldnt be fixed by then(gotta wait to be shipped,fixed,and shipped back out)

 

the evo x is done?

what cams/springs did the evo x go with? Is the car still at the shop or no? I like to take a look at the setup. If its good i'll probably drop my car off to get worked on and get in on this tune.

i just need cams/springs/retainers and my twin disc installed.

maybe a custom ewg manifold if you guys have time to make me one.

Not trying to be a dick but y did u ever agree to the first date if ur car wouldn't be fixed in time?

 

i just took my car to the shop to get my turbo installed and found a hole in my tranny, plus i just found out when i posted online.truthfully, if u need a tune by the first week of july then i guess u guys can set a date that i wont be able to make, because trannys take time to repair.

 

hmmm im probably gonna get an email tune and call it a day , seems like every other day something happens and we gotta push this back further and further. I'm not trying to ride around with these cams in untuned all the way until the end of july/beginning of august.

 

sorry this one isn't coming together as easily as the previous trip guys. As I mentioned before it's difficult to get everyone's schedules to agree.

I spoke with the 4th person last night and he said he can't move to a later date because he will be deployed again by then. He said if the date were pushed back he'd just drive to me to get the tune done instead. I asked him to join the forum and post this but I figured I'd speed things up by posting on his behalf in case he's busy right now.
