New Mexico evo owners check in here.
Below is what Buschur sent me. I'm posting this so you can see exactly what your paying for. Keep in mind we will have to pay additional for the dyno time. Also, he will NOT do street tunes... Only dyno tunes...
"The tuning when I do it here is $300 for the first hour and $150 for each hour after. I will have to check into air fare to see what it's going to cost but I'd probably use those same rates to cover my travel and hotel. I'd need the $300 up front from 5 guys to come out and then could get paid if there was extra fees. Typically though I can finish a car in an hour." -David Buschur

That is correct. The day of tuning you will need to pay for the dyno time and the additional $150/hr if your car requires more than 1hr of tuning.
I am working on getting the dyno nailed down. Once I get it worked out I will post up how much dyno time will cost.
I have also contacted CamTuning (ABQ) to see if we can work with his tuning business. Thinking with his connections he could help us procure a dyno and in return he can spend some time with the 4G63 guru and compare tuning techniques. Maybe we can even get some WRX's out and have a little friendly rivalry at the dyno then take it over to the drag strip to see how much these tunes helped out.

Cool. I will try to get up with them this week! I appreciate the feedback. I am stationed down at Holloman AFB so I am working off of what I remember about ABQ from visits and I have worked with Cameron over the past 4yrs. Wanted to give him the professional courtesy since he is the main AWD tuner in the area.
We can have more than 5 people get tuned. You are #3 that is for sure in for this. The date we set will really depend on the folks wanting to get tuned by David Buschur. I would like to get it done in Feb. This would give us a little time to get more people interested and for a few to get their cars back together.

I am interested, just concerned about knock issue
When does the drag strip in ABQ open back up for test-n-tune/grudge racing?
PS> I'm still working on getting David Buschur here in mid to late Feb to tune. I have three "for sure", need 2 more before this can happen. Please PM or post up if interested.
