Ive seen quite a few Ralliarts up in my neck of the woods, basically cause anyone who comes on my lot I show them the ralliart no matter what they are looking for. There are a few evo's around and so many oz's its unbelievable. Any other RA owners in northwest washington drop me an email. Or any Non RA owners around here want to buy one I work at Karmart Mitsubishi and I'll cut you a hell of a deal

Are you sure that it was an 04 RalliArt because they still make the 04 OZ Rally's with the same rims I am pretty sure so maybe you saw an 04 OZ

Ok I finally saw another RA here in houston, and it was being driven by a 80-90 yr old woman, I made a point to look at her not because of the car she was driving, but that she was going 50 on the highway in the left-hand lane.

Seen a few OZ and 02 03 Lancers, but have yet to see another RA even just came back from Hali and man I love the feeling of turning heads in a new car esp. when it's a Mitsu owner looking at mine.

I havn't seen another Ralliart except for at the dealership. I've seen a lot of OZ Rally's.... they usually look it over and then look away.... like they know it's FASTER. Don't get all worked up about this FACT ....that the Ralliart is faster.... OZ owner's. One day Ralliart owner's will do the same when they see the EVO in Canada....

Unless they changed the body on the '04 OZ, then it was a Ralliart. The front and back ends are different then the '02 and '03 OZ.

I went to the dealership today as well, and seen a few Ralliarts decked out in OZ attire.

My mom and step dad took the digi cam to Hawaii for their honeymoon. As soon as they get back I will take pics.

they did change the body in the OZ for 04, just as they did for every other Lancer. The front and rear are a little differnt in every one, not just the RA.

Ok, I get ya. Did a search and found both the Lancer '04 and Ralliart. My confusion has been put to rest, thanks!

I see regular '02-'03 lancers (more OZ's than others, I think) all the time, including one OZ owned by a coworker, and another OZ that parks in the lot for one of the buildings I work in. I've seen a couple other '04's now, but not Ralliarts (or '04 OZ's, for that matter). There's a Yellow Evo that parks in a lot next to the one mentioned above, I saw another Yellow Evo driving near another location I work in, and I have a vauge memory of seeing what looked like an Evo driving on the highway at night once.

I've seen many Lancers of all kinds at dealerships, of course.

I picked the Ralliart because just like what a lot of people have been saying on the board, it was the practical alternative to the EVO. An EVO just wouldn't make a good daily driver, nor would I want to put a turbocharged monster car like that thru a daily commute. And the Ralliart has a great package, too. The engine is smooth and powerful, the car handles wonderfully, the sport seats are great, and the sun/sound package kicks ***!!

Plus, it was a great value too for a performance-oriented car. So far, I'm satisfied!
My reasons and thoughts exactly

It's wierd....I've seen an '04 Ralliart at a Target near my house. However, it has the OZ Rally Racing Emblem and I think it has the OZ Racing rims that come with the '02 - '03 OZ Rally Racing Edition.

Is it just me or is that out of the norm at all?

I will try to get pics next time I see it...
Sounds like you didn't see an '04 Ralliart, but an '04 OZ. Why anyone would buy an '04 OZ with the Ralliart out I don't know, but apparently some people have... (It can't be because they like the looks more, since as stated above the new OZ looks just like a Ralliart with smaller rims.)

A Ralliart is only $2000 more. If you're buying a $15k+ car you should be able to swing it without any big problems, unless you're blowing all your savings on it...
