Anyone from El Paso?
hey guys just wanted to throw myself into a thread on here. ive been building rx7's for a long time and finally decided to go with an evo ix for a change so kinda new on the evo scene. bought one that was already modded and i was going at trying to figure all that it had done to it before i left and it kinda of turned into a ghetto rigged nightmare but that my issue haha.. ill be back in el paso around sept and would love to meet up and maybe even get up to speed on the evo a little more.
hit me up anytime... i'm always willing to help
So ive done a little research on the Aem OBD testing. Turns out it basically doesnt hook up with the OBD to read info. So my options are to either go back to stock ECU or try to have a Quick hookup for the stock Ecu for Inspection then hook up the AEM again.

Like I said... My friend is a certified state inspector... He can hook you up... When I spoke to him about it he said there is an option to run the tests on cars without connectors... Granted I'm sure more of us on here will fail with or without... That's why I have friends
UPDATE: Looked all over town and couldnt find one... I'm overnighting a toda racing belt probably wont make it to the track but next week if my car aint up and running i'll kill myself

There is a Cars and Coffee on the east side tomorrow (Saturday) at Primos Coffee from 9am until noon. I'll be there with my Evo. Anyone else interested? If so time to shine them up!
ya'll missed the **** out... holy **** i had a great time up there.... it was nice to get away... i had been in the garage 10-12 hours a day since last friday... it was nice to unwind and take my mind off my car for a bit... sadly... i'm home again
