Soon to be Evo X owner with a couple questions

Hey guys how's it going? I might be picking up this evo soon and wanted to know what you guys think and also if any of you guys might know who the previous owner was. From what I can tell it has an aftermarket TBE and front mount and intake and is tuned with an accessport. What do you guys think about that is it smart to buy a previously modded x or should I stay away?

i don't see why not, it just seems like basic bolt-ons. just make sure the tranny isn't abused and maybe replace the clutch too. oh and fyi, warranty is probably voided too lol

yea just ask if you can get info from previous owner and ask him/her about the car and what they did. Also find out why they got rid of it at 5k miles.... might be a bigger reason here. You can tell the IC piping has been changed from the pic so your warranty will be void form Mistu. Might be able to talk the dealer to giving you one but i doubt it. Car fax it and all the good junk... drive it and possibly take it to a neutral party mechanic to look at it.

Get the VIN and call dealership to see if warranty is still good or not.

make sure the car has a tune. AFR is extremely sensitive in the evo x. without a tune, might as well go back to stock.
