Possible all state Evo/awd meet?
I know of a good track outside of Houston but it looks like it's leaning more towards Austin...Anybody know of any road courses around there?

- Cobb just had this meet in Plano last month...the whole state was invited and hosted tons of Evos, Subies, door prizes, food, fantastic event
- TXIC/NTEC just joined together this Spring at the Hill Country Cruise which turned out 50? evos and subies. Is that what we're trying to repeat?

DonHerring/NTEC is having the MOD-MitsubishiOwnersDay covering the U.S. if not the Central U.S.
we discussed inviting Subies too, what do you all think?
Sat. June 2 all day, door prizes, show'n shine, Mitsu vendors, kid activities ie bounce house, face painting etc.
we discussed these additions if there seemed to be any interest:
Fri. evening-June 1 TexasMotorPlex Ennis 1/4mi. Drag Strip- hosts Fast Fridays $15 unlimited runs
Fri. afternoon-June 1 MotorSportsRanch-Cresson can host 1/2day 1-4pm Track Intro/instruction....approx. $100....Harris Hill in NewBraunfels is about $150
(side note: DonHerring/NTEC is hosting a full day at MSR inviting EVOs and SUBIEsSat. Sept. 2....4-5 30'' sessions w/instruction if needed, for less than $100!!!!)
I hope we can do both events, but
it would be a shame to lose participants having both meets so close together that most participants would have to chose between the two...
NTEC just came down in numbers last month for the Hill Country Cruise which was mentioned above,
we do a lot to support regional participation
Never got word of the Cobb meet that passed so I bet mostly subaru's were there. I'm willing to drive to any of the locations but my choice is Austin. I've already started posting on Facebook and speaking to locals who don't get on the forums. I can bring possibly about 8 evo's at least.

A track day would be pretty sweet to.
As for Austin you have Harris Hill road right south of Austin.

And both Dallas and Houston have road courses as well
Then there is always the 1/4s which arent much fun imo but prolly ALOT cheaper
