Hey guys, so I just had this idea pop into my head and I'm sure it's been done before or attempted but I think it'd be a pretty cool meet if all goes together well.

Maybe some kinda evo/sti meet or just awd in general. I've seen lots of people trying to get things together in specific cities so why not try and unite everyone in one central place?

What do you guys think?

So while we wait for the poll to be deleted, the location has been determined. We will be holding it in Austin, most likely at Mansfield Dam during the day. So far any Saturday in June is what we are going for and some have already suggested June 23rd.

Please leave a comment for your input on the date until we can get another poll going.

 

So if we try to do an Evo/STI all state, let's get some location ideas going. Obviously Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio are the main ones that I think of first. I'm down for Austin.

Killeen Ft. Hood area would probably the most central spot for the three main cities. Its almost the same driving distance from the three, maybe dallas is abit closer but yall get the point

 

Well dunno bout STIs and the like, but Don Herring is hosting MOD this year in dallas Jun 2nd or so.

i voted for austin.. party after meet!

 

At first I was going to vote Houston, so i dont have to drive far.. but then i thought about it and Austin would be much better. Its more centralized...the drive to austin has more hills instead of flat land, the scenery is much better and enviornment is more lively, people actively outside, the food's good and night life is fun..

Edit: SA is about an hour away from ATX, Houston and Dallas is about 2 1/2 - 3 hrs away (isnt bad at all, especially if you cruise together)..

 

We can always run harris hill while were down there, also I know a few roads in killeen that are also great to drive we can always tie them in. We would definitely need to leave early friday and make the meet for the next evening. Def better start saving up for this fellas, we should get a few guys together regardless if this goes down or not.

 

Well depending on how much interest this gets, we'd have to plan it for AT LEAST a month out

 

Think this would be awesome, bet we could talk to Cobb in Austin and hold the meet their unless some of the local guys know of a better spot.

 

Regardless of where it is as long as we spread the word to fellow Evo owners it should be a good turn out and i also agree that we should all meet up and head out to wherever it is this meet will take place.
