Couple quick questions:
Do you have a permit/authorization from the park for us to meet there?
Do you already have group plans in place for lunch?
Is this where we're meeting? http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Mansfi...d+Dam&t=m&z=14

The last couple times I've been there for meets, there was no authorization needed but I will definitely check on that just to be sure. And no plans for lunch or anything but there are a lot of places around that area that we could go.

I was down for a big Subaru meet a few months back and they did Rudy's BBQ which worked great for a large group due to the line and seating setup there.

Only 4 miles away too which is nice: http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=Ma...ra=ls&t=m&z=14

If people can't tell, Devo and I have been arranging meets and events across multiple boards for years so we have quite a bit of experience when it comes to things like this.

No permit or authorization needed. Just to be clear though, I am not planning on having the meet inside the actual park but rather, if you look at the map, on the loop of road right next to the park. There is plenty of room to park around there and as long as we keep things civil and under control we won't have any issues.

Also I don't think anybody will have a problem with Rudy's cuz it's delicious BBQ

So you're planning on us all just meeting up on the side of the road? Why don't we meet inside the park? It appears there is plenty of parking available.

Sounds good on Rudy's we'll plan to head there as a group after leaving the park! Thoughts on aproximate time? I'm not sure how long you're planning on staying at the park.

It's not on the side of the road. It's basically a road that goes in a circle right next to the park/dam that has parking all along the side of it. In the middle of it there are bbq pits and picnic tables. To get into the park, it is $10 per car. That's why I am avoiding the actual park because I doubt people want to pay $10 to get in.

It's not the side of the road I know exactly what he is talking about. It's much nicer than you think. You actually get a great view from there as well.

I am down for either. 10$ per car isn't really a huge amount to ask from people.
