Are you planning on attending with race fuel?

 

They've invented this really neat place called a gas station, check 'em out We'll all top off at the Shell after eating Rudy's BBQ and that will provide for plenty of fuel for the cruise route and last us until we get back to Austin. Most Evos get right around that same ~200 miles/tank.

 

He uses e85 lol so he probably won't make it that long without going way off track. Turns out I'm going to Benning instead on the 25th so I can still make it.

 

There is a e85 station in Austin near the lunch place and another one near the end of the cruise. So there should be no excuses

 

If worst comes to worst I'll carry two gas jugs in the car lol

I can bring my 5 gallon since I'm back on 93 for now and my orders were changed and I'll be headed to Fort Benning on the 25th so I should be able to make it again.

 

I still have to see my work schedule I jut broke my pinky toe and toe next to it at work today sooooooo I'm screwed

 

Nice to see that we are coming up with events like this to show appreciation for such a well made vehicles. My dad was nagging at me about why I even bought an evo viii (a 2005 evo viii being an 8 year old car with no side air bags and high miles etc etc etc).

He doesn't understand that I will be basically replacing the whole car when i am done building it. From engine to suspension. The only thing left would be the chassis.

EVERYONE COMING FROM DALLAS MEETING UP TO CRUISE DOWN WITH NTEC:

Next Saturday at 7am we'll be meeting at Einstein Bagels in Dallas to grab a quick breakfast then get on the road by 7:30! This should be a fairly central location for most people since a lot of highways come together near here. Be sure to arrive will a full tank of gas, the plan is to fire straight down 35 and go directly to the meet without any stops along the way. We'll then gas up after lunch for the cruise!

Easy there killer if needed, we'll hit up a copy machine to make a few additional packets if some people sign up at the last minute, and we'll roll down with at least a few extra packets too
