Im sure a few people are planning on staying I know I am, being were close to sixth street and all. Are you trying to see if a few are willing to stay for a group discount?

 

The rate on Expedia is already better than a group rate, plus it's easier for everyone to just be able to book online. Mainly, I just want to throw it out there since it would be cool to continue hanging out as a group all evening! I've done quite of few of these overnight events with my old car club up in Minnesota, and we did one last summer with NTEC when we went to Shreveport and it was an absolute blast. I plan to book later this afternoon once my girlfriend confirms she's able to join. Tom (Supraboy1) and his wife has confirmed they're in, and so has Armando (Rmondoh) and his girlfriend.

 

Rmondoh has his room booked, as do I!

I'm a little confused as to why we don't have more people signing up for the cruise afterwards??

I need to know who's going to do the cruise so I can make the right amount of packets.

What is the route that ya'll plan on driving? And ya'll are staying Saturday night?

I have to put myself as a maybe now. Since some stupid chick hit my parked car in a parking lot, my car might be in the shop when this goes down.

I still have to find a shop, arrange the drop off date with the insurance, and they are projected to need a week for repair. I want to get the car repaired before the meet as I dont want to have the busted up Evo. I might be cutting it close and god knows if they will get the car repaired in the projected timeframe.

The cruise route will be held private for now to avoid any surprises popping up mid-route...yes, it's happened, I've had routes staked out by troopers and local PD's before (they do watch internet car forums). Map packets will be provided to all joining Saturday morning at the Dam meet. Plan for the cruise route to leave from Rudy's BBQ around 2:30pm and arrive at DoubleTree by Hilton Austin - University Area around 5pm.

 

The cruise is going to be from 2:30 PM to 5 PM in Austinish area. The location of the cruise should not interfere with your plans to stay overnight on Saturday night or hamper where you may go the following day. I have cruise this route before it is exceptionally fun. As stated earlier detailed maps and a verbal directions will be provided before lunch.

 

Odds are I'll make the cruise!
