Exclamation FIS screwed me!!!

****UPDATE******

I got everything worked out and and will continue to use FIS for all my EVO needs.

I have been dealing with these guys for several months now and untill now had nothing but good things to say about them. Car always done on time and friendly customer service. I took my WRX there to have the car returned to stock form so I could trade-in on an evo. The only thing that was to stay on the car were my springs and sway bars. Well I got the car home and upon inspection I noticed they took off my sway bars and kept them. To me that is very dishonest.

Whats everyones imput on this?

Good Day, John

In case anyone was wondering FIS is Forced Inductions Systems in Texas. Thought I would clear that up.

I have had nothing but good service from those folks.

I would be up there more often, if it wasn't too far from my house

untill this happened I've been more than satisfied with them as well. I hate to sound like I'm slandering the guys but I thought it was worth mentioning. It's unfortunate for them because I had planned on spending LOTS of my hard earned dollars there.

I have been to FIS numerous times. They did all the work on my WRX and installed my Vishnu Stage 1 on my EVO. THey do EXCELLENT work and I mean that. They do custom fabrication for free if something doesnt look right, they did it for my high boost, low boost switch. If they don't know how to do something they tell you or find our from the best. I personally love the hell out of Steve and Jason and FIS. They are a great bunch of guys and have never ripped me of. I will continue to use them for every performance mod I buy on every car I buy. Ohh, and why did you not just tell them you wanted you stuff back they will give it to you and tell them about the WOT problem, they will fix that also.

P.S. By, " love them ", you guy know what I mean

To me it's just a matter of principle. The sway bars are a measly $300 and probably half that on the used market. If $300 to them is worth risking losing a repeat customer then to each their own I suppose. I guess to me the feeling is similar to having your car broken into, I feel angry and taken advantage of. And when somebody steals something from me I typically don't ask for it back, I call the police. Like I said earlier, the last thing I want is to sound like I'm slandering them, just consider it a BUYER BEWARE is all. Good Day, John

I've heard nothing but good things about them. A good friend had them do major mods to his WRX and he was always pleased. He recently got an STi and they've done a little work on it as well and again he has nothing but positive things to say about them.

I think I found a new shop to go to anyways. I have an appt. at Wasabi and was very pleased with how eager they were to answer all of my questions. They will also have a revised version of the mustang dyno there by May too.

Do what myself? The work? Not sure I understand. I put everything on that car myself, just didn't have the time to take it off.

I have not dealt with FIS, but the guys at Wasabi are a good group of people. I have bought products from them and will not hesitate to let Wayne re-tune my Xede if or when I do a turbo kit providing Shiv will not be making another Dallas trip around that time. I would absolutely recommend Wasabi.
