I would go to a dyno day in austin. I need to fine tune my SAFC and i hate going to turbochargers. Hopefully i can get some better numbers on a different dyno.

We're looking at Saturday May 8 or Saturday May 22. We need 10 to 15 for MZM to open for us. I posted on NASIOC as well, but talk to your friends.

Hi Robert,

Just a dyno tech note for those with the Power FC, especially if you don't have the upgraded fan control on your Power FC. Sitting on the dyno with the engine running, your water temps will quickly climb to 100C before the fans really kick in. You cannot see this with the commander but there is a map that starts retarding timing when the water temp goes above 90C. That can cost you 20-30 WHP easy.
To get around this, run the defroster so the AC and Fans kick on all the time. Make sure your water temps are at least 85C or less before you start your run, oh and make sure you turn off the AC/defrost just before you start the run.
I don't think I will make it, but have fun, good luck, and try and post dyno sheets.

BTW if your doing this at MZM on there Mustang dyno, try and get them to use the same settings as Jason at FIS. Wether it's right or wrong, his reads almost identical to the AWD Dyno jets, so you can have a fairly good idea how your doing compared to everyone else.

Kind regards,

Eric

Thanks Eric. I do have the upgraded fan control, but I'll still have them use your technique. I don't think I can get them to switch the settings as so many people have already dynoed and want to compare their previous results. You should come and hang out if your down this way.

Do you have anything besides the Vishnu stage 0? Your best bet will be to get one of the custom maps that Shiv did when he was in Dallas last month. If you let me know your mods, I'll see if I can find someone with similar mods and get their map. Mzm will do custom tuning, but not on a dyno day. It is much more involved and time consuming. You can call them at (512) 877-6200 and ask for Mohammad or Mutasim. They are a great group and will take very good care of you.
