Evo Tuners in Houston?

I'm about to sell my '03 Corvette Z06 to get free from the payments, and I'm looking at replacing it with an Evo. I drove one recently, and I was thoroughly impressed. I think it's a *wonderful* car for the money, and I'm looking around for a good deal on one now.

Are there any reputable tuners in Houston that know these cars well? If I was going to get an Evo, I was going to order some parts from Dave Buschur, but I am totally unfamiliar to the import tuners in Houston (my last two cars have been C5 Vettes), and I didn't know who to talk about installing the parts. I was probably just going to order everything in the stage 1 and 2. Anyway, any help would be appreciated! Great to be a part of this forum!

For install, SGP and Carboy has been around for a while. I'm sure there's a few more.

They can install parts for you but I am unaware of anybody in the Houston area who can actually tune these cars.

Why is your name so familiar? Your Z06 isn't black is it? Ever been out to the Blimp Base?

You don't have to wait till you get an evo to come out to one our meets. Come out and play in your Z06.

Maybe you've seen me on Corvetteforum.com. I'm a very active member of that board. My Z06 is Torch Red by the way. What's the blimp base?

That would indeed be fun! Plus, I'd love to ride in a modded Evo just to see how big the gains are.

Drop me a line when you have the next meeting, or just stop by my message board and post something. I'm sure there'd be a few people interested in coming out to see some cool cars!

Ryan, depending on what EM you plan on getting, if you purchase a TurboXS UTEC then I can help you tune the car. I run that system currently on my WRX and I absolutely love it. For the price, it allows the ECU to do all the complicated tasks such as idle, start, etc. yet gives you completely control over timing and fuel.

A great shop for tuning, installations and custom fabrication is Autologic near Richmond and Chimney Rock. I'll try to find their contact info.

Come on out man. I have recently changed my tranny fluids and my evo is running better now. Why not today!!!! Lets go meet up today.

Boost gauge and boost controller are easy to install. I did the boost controller myself. Next mod is Gialla front bumper and boost gauge. Peace...
