I just talked to Eurospeed in NC, Alex.

Real nice guy, he guoted me:

$70 an hour at 7 to 10 hours work time.

He said he's done a lot of european cars and DSM but not yet on EVo 8. All fluids included and he said he stock redline fluids. He also said the fluids not that expensive.

They buy in bulk, so i guess that maybe the reason.

 

Well why go to NC when you can go to lawrenceville which is about 30 min north of atl and get it done for the same price or lower. dynamics number is 770-962-9233

 

yeh, I would rather goto Twisted Tuning for that money. Or even Knowledge Performance, they have experience.

 

Batlground - does good work, they're my regular shop - Dan stayed until 12pm to finish the clutch on my supra so I could have it next day. Mainly supra oriented, but he does work on a lot of WRXs, Evos, and STis. Once they get their new shop and the AWD dyno in, it should be perfect. Never had any complaints and they back their work up 110%.
Knowledge - never had any work done there (no opinion)
Balanced - good shop, but high priced.
Mahdavi - Not sure about what they do with Evos, they know Hondas, tho. Heard good/bad things about their customer service.
Twisted - George knows DSMs down tight, but he's a royal jackass (my opinion). Had a few bad personal (non-business related, not dissing their shop) experiences with him. Other guys there are cool, tho.

 

you got some info for battleground? I've heard of them too many times.

 

it Batlground and they are located off of Ottley Rd. Ryano ( I think its spelled like that on here) had his work done there. I was going there myself, but everytime they called me to set up the appt they had a different idea of what I was getting done and I didnt like repeating myself 5 times. They seem to be a good shop, but I would think we can get this done by someone for 400 or a little less. 700 or so is steap as an mechanic should be able to do this in 4 to 6 hrs no prob. anyone heard of Bill Penney Mitsubishi in huntsville alabama. They quoted me some ridiculously good price for the clutch install.

yeh, but there are no shops in atlanta that would charge regular clutch install price.

 

by the time you spend the money to get to some of these places you could already get your clutch in and wouldnt have to drive as far. Sam at dynamic performance will help out any way possible. the number again is 770-962-9233

 

why don't you go there and tell me what you think about it. I've narrow my selection down to 2 places in alabama. I would rather wait a bit and drive a bit to save $300 then do it somewhere that'll do just about the same work or better.
