And yes, I have gone back to college. First day of classes is tomorrow... 2nd Summer term... Just wanted to finish off my Associate and then start working on a Bachelor in Fall... Life has this wonderful way of throwing surprises at you. I recently had an interview for another position at work and when one of the interviewers (and someone I work with a lot) saw I had never finished getting my degree she damn near threw me out the window (and this was the ninth floor with no snow in sight). She made me promise I would go back to school before the year was out or she would nag me to death...
So here I am 42 and heading back to school. I only need two classes to finish off my AS. I'm taking Fundamentals of Speech and they think they can get some of my excess math courses to replace one of the computer courses, that and my dd-214 to take care of the Phys-Ed requirement and I should be done before Christmas. Then off to my Bachelors... It's never too late to start over.
Ah well, Later all. I have to process about 300 Vehicle Insurance Allotment checks tomorrow... Plus the missing timesheet report, Payroll register, 10:00 oclock meeting with my manager, and be in class by 6:30 PM(Schit, that's a lot of work... )
