OK....
So I'm at Muvico.. Im at the light getting ready to turn left onto Sheridan st. Im the 1st car in the lane, and a yellow GSXR1000 drives between traffic and stops right in front of me. He has some kind of aftermarket exhaust on it and starts revving it in my face, while looking at me thru his mirrors. So I'm like, Jerk.. Ok, it's on. The light turns green and we both head off. He starts it slow till he merges onto the highway ramp, and notices me right behind him still. So he shifts his entire bodyweight to one side, and leans the bike hard to make the hard turn. He cant get away from the marvelous handling of the EVO and I'm right on his azz the entire turn. (Note: I coulda tapped him if needed because I was still holding back throttle). He straightens it out and off we go. He started with about 5 car lengths on me, and I'm rollin up windows and closing the sunroof.. Once we got to 155-160, I start reeling him in.. I say to myself, "I'm gonna blow this motor before I lose to this guy!" So I stay on it.. As I start to pass him, I look down and see that my speedo was about ( ) much past the last marker, making it approx 172MPH!!!!!!!! WTF!!! At around 7300 RPM's.. The dude was like Holy SHIIT!!! He asked me how much NOS I was sprayin.. I laughed and said none, and the fact that I still have the stock turbo!!! He was completely blown away, and also stated that he has never been passed at that speed before!!! Woo hooo!! Go EVO... The car was an absolute dream at the speed.. Could still do whatever you asked it to do! BTW, This was very late (or rather early) and the were ZERO cars on the highway.. (Closed Roadway).. After that incident, I was thinkin to myself "Man, I hope I didn't **** anything up!" So, I'm just puttin along on another closed roadway, and a turbo 350Z and a STI pull up on each side of me, soundin off thier blowoff valves.. So I'm like, well here's a good test! Downed it into 3rd, and off we go!! Needless to say, left them both sittin still.. Easy pickin's.. So, my baby is fine and all is well!!! Bye!!!
