ok...you can stay waaay down south in homestead. Prices are reasonable down there. NC is nice for scenic driving, did you go to the Dragon often? Cause you'll be dealing with Dragons down here...better turn up your defensive driving skills.

living in fl/south fl= traffic,expensive rent/mortgage,insurance. I would stay away from miami 2 damn crazy 2 drive and deal w daily.

 

no actually i live about 3 hours from the dragon.. have had friends go but not appealing to me... look at my sig... i cant have any fun in turns haha... no but my sister is moving down to miami for a biologist position and me and her are really close and i was like **** it.. ill go... ive got a DD so my car would be locked up most of the time. Im only 21 and not married so i was like well if i dotn like it **** i can come back

 

Definitely use the beater as much as possible. The evo should be the weekend car.
You guys will have to get used to miami...it's definitely a huge difference from NC. Also, you sharing or living with your sister will make living somewhat more practical.

Miami is like looking at a picture of an ugly baby and the parents present while you look at it. If you can manage to not show fear while looking at the picture, you'll make it.

 

hahaha... i dunno for sure if i were to live in miami.. but that is where she is going.. i just dont wanna end up somewhere in FL with only old retired people and no car scene.

 

Trust me...Miami has evolved since the 70's. The geriatrics have left and moved up further north in florida. The ones left are either tough or lost

how much are you looking to spend? Condo? House? does it need to be near any particular area? Right now is a great time to rent high end condos. For example the place I am at right now was bought for almost 500k but were renting it for 1900 a month
