You don't need to be re-tuned with a boost controller. Just don't go above 22lbs and Forge makes the best mbc out there.

Not always, they essentially do the same exact thing. MBC's are very easy to use and pretty much set it and forget it. EBC's are a little more difficult to set, they have more features. Some claim that you can hold more boost to redline by adjusting the wastegate actuation. Personally, I prefer the MBC.

 

i miss my ebc..i like my forge unit ...too...boost is not as consistent as the ebc...

...gkania has a point on tuning them...once they are tuned...they are golden..no fluctuations like mbc due to weather conditions.

The drop is not that bad at all and once my advans need to be replaced i'll go with either 255/40/17 or 245/45/17 which will raise the car off the ground some more .....


Guys i'm wideband shopping but i don't have a money tree in the backyard should i just get the aem wideband and save some more and get the Zeitronix wideband w the lcd display and boost, egt option as well which is like 600 bucks ??????

 

Girlie, You DO NOT have to buy all the options up front.

You can pretend it costs $274 for the Zeitronix and $100 for the LCD with free shipping.

Later down the line you can add the boost sensor and EGT as you see fit.

The LCD display will show TPS, AFR, LAMBDA and USER1 which is a 0-5v aux input.

It will also be able to LOG AFR, LAMBDA, TPS, RPM, USER1 out of the box for up to 9 hours with a laptop or Palm pilot.
