well in my case.. my car doesnt have a WB sensor unless i get a WB gauge or something, and thus I cannot log a/f ? even if I have evoscan... this is what i was told?

i mean w/ kpro i was able to log a/f w.out every needed to buy a WB gauge

yes w/ k-pro (hondata) the A/f was thought the computer. what about w evoscan?

 

profox...you were using narrowband tuning...which is not good for high hp cars...or any car period. Thing of the past...wideband is accurate and precise. The evoscan has input features that you can log, knock, TPS, load, timing adv, airflow etc through the ecu...i use mitsulogger which incorporates my WB, and boost inputs from my Zeitronix...

Tuning a car without a wideband is like playing baseball with a blind fold on...sure you can hear and feel still ...but if you can't see the ball then your gonna have a hard time playing.

 

I was under the impression that the ep3 and Dc5 had a WB sensor installed... oh well.

so to datalog i need evoscan and a wb gauge for my evo right?
BTW do you guys have your WB gauge in the car all the time?

 

Look up zeitronix.. its like 4 gauges in one.. egr,a/f,boost and lambda
