^ Thats what I thought, I am debating on which cams to throw into my car.

Is there any real point to getting cam gears since it is MIVEC? Or is that just something cosmetic.

You will get some preformance but not as much as the Evo VIII.

from what i hear alot of IX's are using the cosi. I went with HKS cause its proven quality performance. imo

on the mivec its just the exhuast cam gear you can replace. youll pick up a lil more by having it degred. imo if you can afford to do the cams and the gear do it but if its going to brake the bank leav it.

cams are like 500 i think... mine were 400 something for evo 8
