dp catback and test pipe took me about two hours on jack stands... if i would have soaked the o2 sensor on the cat it would have probably took a hour. pb blast a touch and a piece of ice are ur friend soak it heat it and put the ice on the sensor. did it all on jack stands to.... the o2 housing isnt worth doing until u get your headers done... and its a major pita... will most probably strip one of the bolts beware of this mod... its worth having a shop do it
trying to finish up all this paper mess b4 flying out tonight and meeting up with a client at the AM. Got a speech to prepare

my car feels amazing, actually Tamer got around to installing the WB and I couldn't be happier. The wideband and the tune made my week, i'll have to open a thread about him later. We did for sheits and giggles 3rd gear pulls back to back and this wideband changed maybe .1 or .2 not a 1.4 which is a big diff

wow....
so i had to take my car back to the body shop so they can look at some stuff they did not catch at the arrival inspection.
*my side view mirror (plastic shell)has scratches
*and my hood still has ~dimples(lil dents) even after the repair.
^all this they were willing to cover but had to get a decisionn from the Allstate Adjuster guy.
----------------------------------------------------
*i also notice after i got it back there were scrathes on my seats...
side view mirror and hood we got out the way rly quick... the hood they will replace it for a newone, and the side view mirror tehy will repaint. the body shop was by far the most helpfull body shop i have ever been in. they work with surveys and that is probably why they are so good. but the advisor and the manager there were great guys and were willing to help.
the Allstate guy was good enough to order a new hood for me. but the problem arised with the Seats... he wanted to take them to a shop that works on leather to have that piece of leather (where the scratch was) replaced. WTF. after i gave this guy a speach of what a Recaro seat is, he still had doubts, he calls the shop that will suppously repair this leather piece. BAMMMMM he got shot down as soon as he said RECARO SEATS, the guy he talked to told him there is no way he would ever be able to match the quality of the seat (leather).
Allstate guy now aims towards me saying some **** about "if the item is an item that wears off, teh customer has to pay a %..."(<this has a name but i cant remember) right then and there i flip out on teh guy. not cursing nor none of that but i gave him a piece of my mind, and he left the office saying he would have to talk to some other adjuster to see how much i was gonna have to pay outof packet.
-now belive this:
the guy has the nerves to offer me $200 to live with the damn scratches on my fkn seats that dont even have 12k miles of usage. and just the upper part of the seat is ~$2700, and i need driver, passenger, and passenger bottom seat aswell.
as i leave the office on my way to work, he calls me and says that they had discused it, and that i didnt have to pay ****, cause it was more then one item. i payed my deductible already tho, so i cant belive they wanted to charge me more... fkn ppl.
damn what a day.... the guy tells me that they cannot afford to give me a rental anymore. so the bodyshop manager offers to cover it BAMMMM.
King Collision Center FTW. even tho they missed a couple of things, that were probably my fault too for not mentioning anything, once i brought them up they were more then willing to help me get everything resolved.
Rudy.
