lol I knew you had sold yours and was looking into getting the skyline... glad you decided against it (what a waste IMO). I wasn't a fan of the X either, but I must admit it is growing on me, the interior is pretty sweet. Can't stand the butt still though.
Good luck with that!

The thread talks about a Ralliart ACD ECU upgrade for our US spec cars. There are three different options from which to choose. I'm thinking about getting the ACD ECU designed for tarmac rally as well as road applications. Sort of like a middle of the road upgrade...better than stock but not hard core racing.
I didn't know this but the ACD pump is actuated by an electric motor that raises the pressure of the ACD fluid to engage the center diff...this is controlled by a proportioning valve that is in turn controlled by the ACD ECU, which is completely separate from the engine ECU. The "tuned" ACD acts on the proportioning valve to raise the oil pressure and make the ACD more responsive and in doing so adds more rear bias.
This upgrade along with the TRE rear diff service will make the Evo...dare I say it...act more like an STi with a rear bias. This means greatly reduced understeer and lots more oversteer fun
Price: $566 + shipping...not bad at all.

i am going to be staying in Diego...for the first few months, until the family come down in December and by then i would have hoped to find a house in the West to rent..
I will be down the first week of Sept to start my job on Sept 8/th, we go have to meet for a drink at Trotters...you ever go there.
As you know i am in construction, and there is no construction in Florida at this time, and construction is booming down there...hence my move, got an offer there that blows away what i am making here....
