Finished installing my cams a few hours ago...i'm in reach...just can't tag you

 

mmm, evo's + cams sound sexy. Don't worry, I'll jog backwards and taunt you from up front. Although i think that i'm in trouble when the weather gets chilly at night like it was last night. I spun my tires in third gear @ 70mph.

 

So you're spinning 3rd...so basically you can only run from 4th gear, cool.

Tuning the cams..my a/f went from 11.9 to 14.5..i had to take out a ton of fuel. Tuning without meth for now then upping the boosties bwahahaha

 

Damn, that's a significant climb in a/f. Hope it didn't do anything to it. Lean a/f's without meth scare me. What kind of power should the car make with the cams installed and tuned on the meth?

As far as the grip, all i need is a little stickier tire for my next set and i'll be ok. And i found a really good price for a 15x7 rim for drag radials. My tire spinning was in the cold too so I guess that little gain in power from the lower intake temps put me over the edge for grip. At least i know where my breaking point is.

 

@30psi w/ my mods and a "decent tune" ...not a tune where i'm on the verge of destruction to reach a hp figure. I should hit 385-400whp.

Car hit 353whp@30psi w/ stocko2housing,9.8hs,stock exhaust manifold, stock cams.
Since then, fixed/added: Megan 02housing, ported 10.5hs, ported exhaust manifold, GSC 280 cams, revised tune, fixed 4 leaks.
