SSKilla, which clutch are you selling and for how much? I was currently looking at a ACT Stage 2 because my OEM is starting to slip getting to 15K miles.

Correct. The D & B is at Dolphin. It's a good meeting place and we can just walk to the meet later. See y'all there.

Goodnight everyone!! Sorry I've been missing in action for the last few days.

I drove my evo to the head of my street on monday morning, came back home and the floor was flooded with water under the carpet. you put your foot on the floor and it looked like the carpet was floating in a pool, waves and everything. vwryder came over and helped me use my shop vac and vacuumed the water from under the carpet, took the car to the dealer and spent the week fighting with them to warranty it. they were charging me 948.00 to replace the carpet. i told them to go **** themselves. had my friend that's sales manager speak to the service manager, all of a sudden they want to warranty it. ****ing ridiculous. anyhow they ordered a new carpet and its supposed to be here tomorrow afternoon, hopefully i get my car back before the meeting. bye for now :-)

Did you leave the Sunroof open or are you trying to turn the evo into the world's best handling boat????

Nope, nothing was left open, i'm positive. My alarm closes all the windows and the sunroof when its armed, and it arms automatically if i forget to arm it. Not only that, but it was only the driver's side front and rear that was flooded, the passenger side front and rear was dry. Thank God because the brain for my tv/dvd is under the passenger seat.

Therefore water had to come in from the bottom of the car, its the only explanation... everything else in the car was dry. the seats, pillars, headliner... everything else was dry. it doesn't make sense what happened. Then they are saying that there is a recall on some evo's that the bottom panels were not sealed correctly from the factory. SSKilla had that recall done to his car already, but when they typed in my VIN # i didn't qualify for the recall. So i told them to check the car to see if the car was properly sealed, the service guys were acting like its the hardest thing on earth to do... they are so ridiculous.

That's really strange, because I have had nothing but good service from them. The right seat bolster on my Recaro broke, so I took it to them last week and they took the car back and immediately ripped it apart to see what was wrong. They 30 Minutes later they told me they needed to order a part for the seat, It's covered under warranty and they would call me when they had the part. I had the car back in 40 minutes and was able to get back to work.

Have you been driving through any canals lately???
