I think that it is a good sign that MMC is making a statement to clarify their warranty policy - especially where it says; the mod 1. must be linked to the cause of the problem, and 2. does NOT void the entire warranty!
Well, might be worth keeping a copy of this letter for your next warranty visit to your local dealer.

DIRECTIONS TO MARKHAM PARK:
For you people coming from the south end..
Take whatever you need to I-75 north.
I-75 north to Arvida Pkwy Exit. (5th exit once you're in Broward County)
When you exit off Arvida, the 1st traffic light is Weston Rd. Make a right onto Weston Rd. (northbound)
Stay on Weston Rd for about 2 miles till it ends at State Road 84. Cross over State Road 84 and enter the park..
(Weston Rd goes straight into the entrance of the park).
