Unfortunately no. I'm going to LA for the grammys this weekend and I have a bunch of crap to take care of, like trying to rent a tux for the event.

Yo Jon - what's up man.

Autocrossing is just about the cheapest form of automotive competition I can think about... It doesn't get much better than this cost wise. : )

I had a friend that bought a CRX for $800, 4 Falken Azenis tires $400. (which he ran full time on the car), and a helmet $80. Total cost $1280.
And he was running the same lap times as Evo's and Sti's !!

Some of you might have spent more than that on mods to your car in the last 6 months and I doubt if you could beat him around the cones regardless of what car he was driving. The difference is his level of car control.

If you've never autocrossed before and you do it for a year - your driving skills will double!!!!!

It is worth every penny. You won't kill your brakes, and a set of tires can last you a year.

I honestly believe if you spent $10,000 on mods to your Evo, you still would not beat the guy autocrossing his stock Evo, who's had a year autocross experience.

If you think I'm exaggerating just ask Dr.Mr about his experience this weekend with Darren driving his car. I'm pretty certain Dr. MR is hooked for life now, and will comfirm what I have just said.

My point is - it's all about learning to drive for me. Alot of you guys will be surprised how much you suck .

Since I started autocrossing I suck alot less

Exactly - you have to push your car to the very edge in order to learn how to control it. YOu can't do what we do on the streets.

PS: if you don't think we're pushing it .... both Dr.MR and I spun out on the 1 mile track this weekend.

I was glad to see him spin out because it means he is not afraid to find the limits of the car and will improve quickly. He'll soon begin to feel when the car is breaking traction and correct it alot easier - most of the time
