Hey - it was close man. Either way - nice of you to accept it graciously.
For me, its all about learning to drive and having fun doing it - more than what car I've got or would like to have. Sorry to stir things up, but I'd love to see TEMEVO as a drivers club as much as a car club. Ever seen some old dude go by in a Porsche doing like 25 mph and think; gosh... what a waste! Yup - who wants to be a poser?!
Autocrossing for me was an ideal way to start off and I can see a huge difference from a year ago. Hopefully this year I'll do a road race course to take things up a notch.
I had consciously decided to LEARN to drive at a decent level before buying a car that made me FEEL that I was an extraordinary driver.
When I step into my own Evo - I hope that I am deserving of such a capable legendary car - by respecting it with a basic level of driving skills.

***TEMEVO Family Day***It's official now we have a picnic on Sun. March 6 at C.B.Smith Park in Pembroke Pines on the NW corner of Flamingo & Pines Blvd. (entrance on Flamingo rd.) at
shelter # 14.
Waterslides & Tube rides are open so bring your swimsuits.
Park hours are 8:00 am - 6:00 pm.
I reserved a medium shelter (they were out of large) that
can hold 50 people.
They have grills, water and electricity. Please pick something you want to bring for food! Please post up!!!

hotdog and buns
potato chips(doritos, cheetos, pringles, etc. please post what brand you are bringing)
beer(please post what brand you are bringing)
desserts(cakes, pies,etc.)
knives, forks and spoons

any native dish, from your respective country, you wish to bring(please bring enough for alot of ppl)

how do I learn better car control?! I am constantly evolving and saw autocross as a higher level of car worship (one of many forms) but I can dig that it's not for everyone and I don't expect it to be. It's just my Sunday service along with a devout few
