The deal with Metrozoo is that they are going to be constructing a waterpark on the lot that we used. This has been delayed and we are looking to get back there for a few more events.

The permitting for this site is also a pain in the ***.

I would like to buy some land and build my own track. Then it could be used for all types of events. But that costs $$$$

Maybe john could contact the Dolphin Mall and see if they could close off a parking lot for something like this. If he had the contacts and would allow us to use them, I could certainly get the people to organize it.

Angry

Now I'm pissed!!! I just walked out to my car and found both the driver and passeger door handles pulled partially out. The scum bag tried both with a screw driver so the key won't work. Who do I take it to to have this fixed??? I know that it's coming out of pocket, but I hate the fact that people are ****ING with my car. Do I have to take it to because of the key situation, or can a locksmith fix it?

PRVRT, interested in what you think.

thanks design.

I'm taking it up the street in a couple of minutes and have a friend look at it. He has a restoration body shop and works on **** like this all the time. He just wasn't in when I saw it. If I have to order the mechanisms from I will. I've never had anything like this happen before and it really sucks.

Where did you have the car parked?
Can't have nice things in south florida, there's always some *******, jealous or otherwise trying to ruin it for everybody else.

It was in the front of my shop. Yeah, I know, shouldn't have been there, but it was just a few hours and I was in the building. Never again.

Sorry to hear that Chris! I know the feeling and the does the stock control to open the does stil work and do the dor handles still open??? If not you are going to have to goto to get them to reprogram it. But I think its covered under warranty, not sure? And also you are going to have to replace the door handles if they are sticking out! That means they broke the piece that holds it flat to your door(its a spring, but once you try to force it open it either breaks or stretches so it doesn't look flush)! I can ask to see how much they are and my price if you want them replaced! Hope everything works out and if there is any help please PM or post, I am here to help! The bastards that did this, I agree with you Dr. Evo! to many envious ppl out there!!!!

Thanks for the help PRVRT. I already ordered the lock sets. My friend will pull the door panels when they get here and do it for me. Until then, we can't tell if anything else is broke. doesn't have the door locks in sets, BTW. I would have had to buy 2 different locks which would mean 2 different keys. We got the blanks and will have a locksmith keyem for us. The handles work as well as the keyless entry, so I'm ok for now.

As far as the parking lot deal, our club has run in several different malls before and we have Liability insurance up to $5 million dollars. If this is something that the mall would be interested in hosting, please let me know. It is a low speed, drive skill course that we set up. We would also pay for the site.

Thanks again everyone.

Thumbs up I`m in too!

People just let me know when you are going to start the solos. I `ve been into solo cross and rally cross for a long time and since I came to Florida, I`ve trying to get into a racing club, and I think I can join your club and once and for all be in a racing club to be more active.

2Fast4u,

You have the Central Florida SCCA. They are active on both coasts and set up some good events. You also have Martin Sports Car Club, but I don't really enjoy running with them. (EGO for no reason). These are some of your options. Good luck with them. Go to SCCA.ORG and follow the trail to the central florida region.

Talking You too?

I contact the Central Florida SCCA Events director via telephone, and he din`t gave me much to chose, The calendar wasn`t to active, you know you whant to race at least once a month. Back in Puerto Rico we just to race one or two times in the same month. MSCC I quit running with them for the same reason that you said before and some other issues, I`ll tell you some day. ................... That`s why I`m interested to run with you guys, looking for a good admosfere, partnership and good relationship with the club menbers, No! I`m better than you and you are in a inferior level or so. So just keep me informed on future events.

You also have the gulfcoast autocrosser. They run in Ft. Myers at an old airstrip. They have an excellent club and the course is huge. They have an event this weekend. Give them a try. As far as MSCC, I understand.
