I was wondering since you mentioned these 2 Clifford alarm systems. How do you think they will interact with a turbo timer. I want to get an alarm installed this week but i'm worried about how it will work with a turbo timer installed. I've heard that the timer interferes with the starter disabler from the alarm and vice versa... any thoughts? Anyone on the board feel free to comment on this.

Thanks,

Kevin
Yes it would, but I think there is away around it! You would have to talk to EVOLUTIONIZE (his name is Joel, but he has been missing in action) I think he has what you are asking about! Or you can talk to where you get your alarm installed and see what they say??

Sorry I missed the meeting Saturday, but I was at the Weston Winn Dixie on State road 84, there was a bunch of cars hanging out there and there was this kid and his buddy talking **** about how overated the EVOs were and they wanted to run me.
The one kid was driving a Mustang GT, he would not tell me what mods he did to it and was convinced that he could take me from a dead stop. I was like this kid got some *****. Anyway I smoked him by about 5 car lengths. He was pissed, so pissed off that he called his buddy with a Ford Lighting that had intake, exhaust and pulleys and he wanted to run from a 20 mph roll.
So I figure this would be somewhat amusing because I beat this kid before without the mods, but now he's packing new intake exhaust and pulleys, but WTF if wants to run I ain't backing down.
We go from a 20 mph roll and boom we take off, I could here that supercharger whining right next to me until 4th gear. I actually pulled on him on fourth gear and I did'nt even use my Nitrous (bottle empty, too broke from Xmas shopping to get it filled).
So we get back and I said to both of them, what do you think about getting beat by a car that's missing 4 cylinders and only carries a 2 liter engine? Yeah I guess the EVOs are really overated.

Good job Doc! The mustang gt's aren't what they're made out to be (at least stock).

It's amazing how many people think their stuff is the best.

Did anyone see HOTROD TV with the comparision between the Mustang Cobra (Supercharged) and the WRX STI? It was an interesting program and they both ran the same 1/4 mile times.
Very interesting. I think that they did the write up in the next issue of Hot Rod as well.

Look guys... not to be a hater or whatever but im just looking out for my homies... Flashing isnt the best move...

From my understanding they tune the car as best as possible with everything you got right there and then, then basically copy over the stock ECU with the new tuned values to the stock Ecu.

This isnt bad or unhealthy or whatnot but... it is however not the best idea if you ever intend on adding anything to your car.

Remember it is tuned with what you got, so changing the turbo, I/c, injectors...whatever you change will throw your flash way off.

Which means you basically gotta Flash again... but $600 per pop for DynoFlash plus $350 for a SAFC...thats almost $1000 and you cant really do ****.................. why dont you just spend $1200 for a standalone and have flexibility and power... dont be penny wise and pound foolish.

Anyways, I know a few of you guys are planning on doing it, just take what i have said into consideration.
$0.02
thank you - please drive thru

If you don't plan on modding any more than what you got, the flash is ok. But if you plan on more mods to your car over time then I'm with Nick. Standalone is the way to go.

In fact when the first post for the dynoflash came out I said "Cool, I can do this after I get all my mods". But I realized that once I get started it will never end. There will always be one more thing to do.

BTW Dr Evo - Good Kills - Next time race for pink slips and make some money off these turkeys.
