It just depends on what part of the state you go to, like most states. Southeast Ga, where i am, is just like FL(actually, less people wearing cutoff jean shorts and gold chains here). But beaches and beach bums, hot women(i have been told by SEVERAL people across the country that GA had some of the best looking women on the planet, and ill agree).....
now, if you get to some really small rural town.....i coudln't even tell you what that would be like and im from GA.....although, small to you isn't small to me im sure.....by small i mean...SMALL

hey, i'm from atl/GA... and i've been to AL a few times, your biggest concern down here is going in-between the more populated areas. i've had cops follow me for no reason other than my car stuck out like a sore thumb.
it is a culture shock, too but again, where you land will determine that the most. i came here from NJ 13yrs ago... and it was HEE-HAW from the word go. a lot has changed down here though. if you're not tinted, get a tint (it's F*CKING HOT DOWN HERE)... depending on where you are will dictate how dark you can go without drawing attention, same goes for the exhaust note.
as far as metro atl is concerned, there are evos, srt-4s, wrx/sti's, as well as plenty of 'stangs, cobras, vettes, and 'cmaros (as well as a host of the usual rice bowls). but you're biggest problem will be the SUVs and yes, you'll see more jacked trucks than you can shake a stick at if you're rural
good luck to ya, you'll manage.
