Anywhere besides Potts.
What about down town? Only problem with that is it might not be safe to leave our cars un attended. Otherwise I say the beach..

Of course. Hopefully I won't be going back to Milwaukee, Im down there to visit my family and look for jobs down there. Although there isn't a whole lot of jobs in that area I have a few friends in Orlando.

I'm usually free in the evenings...off Friday and Saturday this month.
dryad001, there are tons of jobs in this area right now...there's virtually a shortage in every field. Problem is, pay is so bad in Florida, it can't cover the cost of living, hence the shortage. What sort of field are you looking for a job in? Maybe I can help....

Well, what are you studying now? They may be looking for ad people but I'm unsure of how many part-time jobs they have. I'm on the editorial side which means a degree in journalism is a must. But I could look into something depending on what you're interested in.

You weren't up in Bonita today were you? There was a silver Evo outside a surf shop in a strip mall on Bonita Beach west of 41. It was behind the bushes so all I saw was the wing.
As far as photo stuff goes, it's pretty much a necessity to have a degree in Journalism these days to get your foot in the door. Journalism is a shrinking field. Very, if any, new newspapers are opening up. Everyone is downsizing. There seems to be more opportunity on the web end of things and multi-media technology, ie. convergence of print and electronic news media. It's actually really scary if you ask me. Naples Daily isn't the greatest place to work either. Not sure how much longer I'm going to stay!

You know, there's a drift event on Saturday in Port Charlotte at the Charlotte County Speedway. I think it's D1. I read somewhere the event starts at 7pm but you might want to check on that. I don't think I can attend as I have to get up at the crack of dawn to shoot the Bucs/Fins game Sunday.
