I did mine, pain in the butt, but I knew that when I was done that everything was done right, torque specs. tension, no timing issues, etc. I would do yours, but I don't know (depending on where you live) if it would be worth the drive.

I would imagine though, now that I think about it, Top Speed in Alpharetta is an EVO heavy place, that would probably be your BEST bet.

Hum, if you have time... I might be able to get one written up by friday. It was pretty tough, but I did it, and I was scared the whole time... hehe, messing with the timing is a pretty big deal, so I took my time and match marked everything! I was kind of trial and error'ing it, because I hadn't seen a write up on it yet, so if I did a write up it might not be all inclusive, but I will do my best.

sweet.

I actually found all the diagram on how it's assembled on here. but nothing like a good write up.

I'm fairely mechanically incline and i have plenty of time before the timing belt change.

I'm looking at the tensioning tool now.

ehh.. stay clear of that, especially if you are doing the timing belt... you should probably replace the tensior, unless it is too expensive. I just went to the dealer and got a grenade pin from the mechanic, and used that when I took it off. I had to stick it in a vice to bring it back down some, because I couldn't get the pin in while the tensioner was installed. You are taking the timing belt off anyways, and those things have been known to snap, so just a friendly caution.
