Hey - great thanks to all of those that ignored the weather reports and showed up at Umstead park. Nice to see the variety of Evolution rides out there.

If someone ever gets their parts out of their back seat they will be ripping the tires off their rims! :-) Some serious power waiting there.

A couple of people asked about the link to my old GSX web site so here it is:

Cheers,

Jim

The weather was indeed being nice to us. It gave us enough time to chat, drive and go eat and finally started raining when we decided to go home. Great meet guys, lets do it again sometime and get even more evos together. Maybe ill have more than just a catback next time .

I know Jim, it's starting to drive me crazy looking at that stuff. I really enjoyed meeting everyone and a BIG thanks to all those who came from the Greensboro area. Hopefully we can get together again in mid-May because there were about 4 more Evo's who couldn't make it this time.

nice meeting you guys.......our trip back to Greensboro was not without incident.

i almost got put into the concrete wall by some moron who was checking out Joe's car and not paying attention. he came right over at me but i saw him coming and had some room to work with so i squeezed though. he fish-tailed all over the road but didn't hit anyone. Joe said he was screaming like a girl, lol. thank God no one got hit.....i'm sure he'll pay attention from now on.

My girlfriend let her parents borrow her scanner so as soon as it's returned, I'll post them.

WTH??? Actually instead of talking about what you might not know, it is actually a crowd of all ages of people and come to think of it the closest thing I ever saw to a civic at a meet was a guy in a Turboed RSX and even he was like 22 i think! As far as tooner kids! Well unless they showed up recently while I have been absent, there are none! I'm not trying to start anything, but that crowd is a little older and more of an enthusiast crowd and I'm sure Lo J would keep that in check if there were some "tooner kids" being stupid in a parking lot or something! If nothing else the meet will give you guys all a chance to get together and talk about getting something together, geez! I love EVOs too, but can't always speak for the people who drive them! You are entitled to your opinion though! I just think it sounds asinine! LOL!

^^ I agree with Joe on this one. I feel better asking an Evo-related question to someone who actually DRIVES AN EVO! Thats most of what our conversations were about at the meet. There was a WRX there and a 1st gen eclipse. I see all to often the "honda tuners" Joe is talking about. The tuners you're talking about must be few and far between in my area.
