Hail damage is a bi@tch

Anyone else on here get pounded by the hail and rain storm on Friday night? Unfortunately I was visiting a friend south of Nashville, TN and my poor WW Evo now looks like a golf-ball. And damn the insurance companies for raising rates so much I had to increase my deductible to $1K! This sucks bad...

Think on the bright side... you get better aerodynamics now

But seriously, it sucks man....
Does insurance cover this like cracked windshields, ie. no deductables?

Insurance covers it but I have to pay the comprehensive deductible. Which in my case is $1K because of the outrageous insurance rate hikes on our cars. So basically I'm boned in a big way. At least I have a white car, you don't really notice untill you look at it closely.

i had mine on a trailer and drove right through it, i was on 24 heading into cheatham county (bordering nashville on the west). no hail just mad lightning and crazy rain and winds. we had the roof blow off a couple buildings. but no hail damage, i think i missed it by about 5 min cause my gal said it was at her house which is about five minutes from where we were heading. not that any of this makes you feel any better but good luck with getting it fixed.

Hey you need to change your deductible back down to 100 bucks, it will only be 5-6 more dollars for six months. Definitely look into it. Its not very much at all. I have hail damage too on a white which I got with 900 miles on the car.

LOL...yea, not very funny. Try more like $350 more for six months.

I'll take some on Thursday when the adjuster comes to look at it. The shop I'm taking it to has flouresent lights that will show the dents a lot more than the sunlight does.

The hail ranged from pea sized up to about 1.5 inches, or just over the size of a quarter.

I have never heard of it being that much, I changed my deductible to 100 from 500 and my rate did not go up more than a few dollars. Sorry if you thought I was making a joke, but I am being serious.
