Roll Call For Sc Evos
I wasn't even in the market for a car when I ran across old yeller, It was time though I had a 99 eclipse gsx. I hate that the car wasn't stock, but here in SC u don't run across many Evo's...Stupid impulse buyer...lol. I messaged dyno4mance and left all my contact info maybe Bruce will message me later and hit me up with some info. I'm in penn. now anyway working at three mile island, so I guess I will setup an appointment when I get back. I know the car has AEM adjustable cam gears...what cams idk, and the ECU has obviously been flashed, stock exhaust manifold but past there everything is wrapped, stiffer motor mounts, stock IC and pipes, stock recirc valve, K&N cone filter, the battery has been relocated to the trunk, so I have plenty of stuff I can do myself just have to make it back home
ok so thanks to scottatyamaha, I got in touch with bruce and he sent me all this info...Hey man,
I told those tards to give you my info so I could fill you in on
everything that had been done to the car.... Ohh well, glad you
tracked me down. They wanted to wholesale the car but I told them to
drive it first cause it was faster than anything they had on the lot.
They called me about two weeks latter (the sales manager) and said
"dam that thing is fast" so I figured they would hold on to it and
find it a good home.
First things first, if you have not already done so, it needs a timing
belt ASAP. I never got around to doing it before I traded it in on my
X.
Car had at the time of trade in:
Shep Stage 2 transfer case with mitsu lsd
hks 272 cams
(don't recall if I left the aem cam gears on it or not)
Cusco Twin Disk clutch (maybee 20k miles on it)
750cc injectors
walbro fuel pump
plus other stuff I'm sure I don't recall at the moment. I re tuned it
the day before I traded it in so I don't think there is much to gain
from a tune unless you have added back more parts. It had a green on
it for a while but I put a low miles stock turbo on it before it was
re tuned and traded in. I think it make 280whp or so on the trade in
tune, or about 350 crank hp.
It would be nice to see the old girl again

When I first bought the car the MAF had a short in it, and the dealership didn't want to buy a new one so they relaced the timing belt and a few other things b4 they finally broke down and shelled out the cash for a new MAF
Junk yard Evo maf= $150ish
Junk yard Eclipse maf= $50
