The autox at the Hard Rock park in Myrtle Beach was a blast Saturday (the only day I attended of a 2 day event) and I've realized that I've gone as fast as I can on the stock Advans with the power I've got. Considering I was like one of maybe 3 cars that had street tires in the Street Modified class, I'm pleased with my results.

Good to see Jamie and BJ again as well. I'm sure Jamie has contracted the autox bug now and unless people posted up some obscene numbers on Sunday, I think BJ took 3rd place in SM.

The course was well designed and that one hairpin turn at the corner got all of us at least once. Dave posted up some great times too, much better than his first time at the BMW plant a year ago. Proud o' ya bruh! We had fun, but since we all were in the same class I don't think there's any pictures from anybody running. There should be some video though, but we'll have to wait until Dave can get that done. BTW, I've got the vids from the BMW plant as well so I'll post those up maybe on both EVOSC and here sometime this week.

 

Jamie has the vids from the race. So we'll bug him with those. With the next one being local http://www.scsportscar.com/modules/a....php?year=2008 we should be able to find someone to film for us. Does anyone know where I could find the brackets to mount a camera to the outside of the car. If we arent going to have anyone that can film then at least we can take turns filming our own.

I had a blast as well, bugged alittle that the other 2 evo guys didnt want to come over and introduce themselves, but thats fine. I'll just have to spend the week cleaning out the dust/dirt off and out of the car.

 

Great. Don't know if I'll have my r-compounds by next month, but who knows? I don't like the fact that next year there's no events in my backyard! What happened to Columbia?? Anyway, as far as the other EVOs, at least Eugene came over for awhile. It doesn't bother me if they do or don't. It's no secret where we congregate. Between, here and EVOSC how can you not??

I had it "finshed" for a couple of months, I just completed a 35R setup after getting rid of my 30R.

I spun the 3rd rod bearing and ended up damaging a lot more, replaced the crank/rods/rings and a couple other parts, getting a RS front diff put in then I think I will be forced to sell it.

SO basically, it will be sold when it ge's refinished, but yes
